Experience and capabilities
We manufacture bearings for angle sensors of parabolic antennas as well as EXSEV ceramic bearings, used in special environments like satellites and other space mechanisms. JTEKT has developed Koyo EXSEV bearings for use in applications where conventional bearings are not suitable due to the severity of the conditions. The EXSEV series are produced using special materials and lubricants which protect the bearing in extreme environments (high and/or low temperatures, clean areas, corrosive environment, vacuum spaces etc.)
JTEKT produces high performance track rollers for flap and slat actuation systems, for civil and various other applications. The design of these products is customized for each application. They are manufactured from high temperature stainless steels and enhanced with special features to cope with the severe working conditions.
We also possess a long experience of the design and manufacturing of ball and cylindrical roller bearings for jet engine main shafts of aircrafts and helicopters. Those bearings must maintain high performance and efficiency in severe operating conditions over extended periods of time while supporting the main shaft’s ultra-high-speed rotation.
In addition, we also supply compact and light weight bearings for jet engine gearboxes, which are specially designed to guarantee stable performance under high-temperature and high-speed operating conditions.
