Change of Koyo Individual and Carton boxes for Ball Bearing Units

JTEKT has extensively been working on the improvement of the Koyo product packaging. Our product packaging helps us to ensure that our bearings are well protected during all transits and arrive in top condition at the end-user.

The packaging offers also an opportunity to positively impact our brand’s image. Therefore we are pleased to inform you that we are gradually introducing new individual and carton boxes for our Ball Bearing Units range in the distribution market for the month of February.

The price increase for Koyo bearings will be effective as of the 1st of January 2018:

• Ball & Roller (Ball bearings, tapered roller bearings, spherical roller bearings & cylindrical roller bearings): + 4,9% Flat increase
• Ball Bearing Units: + 3,5% Flat increase
• Needle Roller Bearings (inch): + 3,9% Flat increase
• Needle Roller Bearings (metric): + 2,2% Average

Lexus LC 500 see through model at the 67th IAA Frankfurt Motorshow

During the 67th IAA Frankfurt Motorshow JTEKT Corporation presented its latest technology developed for the Lexus LC500.

JTEKT is supplier of systems and components in the following areas: DRIVE LINE (Torsen Type B, Drive shafts), STEERING (collapsible manual column, intermediate shaft and rack parallel EPS), CHASSIS (front- and rear wheel hub unit), TRANSMISSION (several NRB’s), ENGINE (water pump and idler pulley) and ALTERNATOR (2 shaft bearings).
